Vol. 1 | No. 1
Dear Future Grace School Gators,
What a unique time it is in our world today. Throughout the last six months, we have charted our course through the unknown and prepared for a new school year that was going to look different than any we’ve experienced before. Our leadership worked around-the-clock to implement safety measures and protocols that allowed our students and faculty to safely return to campus. On August 19th, we welcomed our students back to school both in person and virtually, including 87 new Grace Gators. Seeing their smiling faces behind their shields and masks, excited to be back and engaged in learning, made it all worthwhile.
While we are adapting to our current environment, our core values have not changed. We are a community devoted to inspiring creators, building problem-solvers, guiding innovators, and growing changemakers. We are committed to showing that our faith in Christ is present as we initiate purposeful change and commit to serving others.
We know that a family and school partnership is essential for student growth and progress. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many of you in person or virtually. Some of you have had the opportunity to step foot on our campus and see our students actively engaged in the classroom, while others have Zoomed around campus with me. And some of you are in the beginning stages, inquiring to see if Grace School is the right fit for your child. Although we cannot currently have visitors on campus, we want you to feel engaged and connected with our community in hopes of your child becoming a Grace School Gator.
I know selecting the right school for your family and your child is an important one. As you start your journey through the admissions process for the upcoming school year, please do not hesitate to reach out when you have questions. I am here to guide and assist you through the process.
I look forward to getting to know more about your family and sharing with you all of the aspects that make Grace School an exceptional place for learning and a community that will soon feel like home. Please take a moment to view our welcome back video from our Head of School, Dr. Liz Walgamuth.
